We do feel that to gain maximum health benefits people must find a supplement that contains at least 700mg of each of these ingredients, but, unfortunately, this Nordic Natural®’s supplement does not offer such a high dose of these two Omega-3s.
However, the manufacturer does note that during the manufacturing of this supplement they take care to remove any heavy metals, such as mercury and other environmental toxins from the Fish Oil. This removal process is said to include a molecular distillation that will purify the fatty acids. We’re sure many consumers will appreciate this added effort by the manufacturer, since high mercury doses can be very detrimental to our health.
